These terms cover Courtside HD and its website, provided by Dalton Schwentker. Courtside HD is currently a pre-release app. Review these terms and the privacy policy before using it. Contact support@courtsidehd.com with questions.
What Courtside provides
Courtside helps you configure volleyball sessions, record footage on your device, stream to your own eligible YouTube channel, and organize or create local highlight clips. Features and compatibility depend on the app version, your device, permissions, storage, and third-party services. App Store distribution is subject to Apple’s applicable license terms.
Your content and recording permissions
You retain your rights to content you create. You are responsible for having permission to record and share players, spectators, venue footage, music, photos, and other content. Follow applicable laws and venue rules, including requirements relating to children and recording consent. Do not use Courtside to infringe others’ rights or distribute unlawful content.
We do not claim ownership of your recordings, roster photos, or highlights. Starting a broadcast sends the selected video/audio to YouTube under the visibility you choose. Confirm the channel and event before starting.
YouTube and other services
Courtside uses YouTube API Services. By using Courtside’s YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google authorization, channel eligibility, live-stream activation, quotas, visibility, and archive access are controlled by Google/YouTube. Courtside is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, YouTube, or Apple.
A manual stream key uses the settings of the event in YouTube Studio. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and stream keys. You can revoke authorization through Google account permissions.
Keep copies of important footage
Export footage you want to keep. Device storage, permissions, interruptions, network conditions, and app removal can affect recording and playback. A live-stream connection or recording indicator does not guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast or complete saved file. Inspect important recordings after capture.
Local file deletion, exported copies, and YouTube deletion are separate actions. Courtside does not provide a cloud backup service for local recordings. Only import and edit footage you have the right to use.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep Courtside useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee continuous service, a particular stream quality, compatibility with every device, or recovery of interrupted footage. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and support
Features and these terms may change. We will publish updated terms with a new version/date when needed. This first public release is planned to be free; no subscription or purchase is offered by this website. Any future paid offering would have its own disclosed pricing and applicable terms.
